The Arctic Science Ministerial (ASM3) meeting in May 2021 was organized “to strengthen international cooperation and respond to the severe threat of climate change and biodiversity loss in the Arctic”. The meeting was jointly organized by the Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Alertness was one of 29 new research projects selected by the Norwegian Research Council for inclusion in a database of Arctic research projects assembled by the organizers. The database consists of 434 projects and you can go directly to it here.

The webinars from the meeting can be seen here.

The main report from the meeting contains a two-page information leaflet from all participating countries and organizations at ASM3. You can read the report here.
